Wild West of Streaming OVER?
Most of you have missed out on this Wild West in Streaming. Here is an article from the Atlantic - The Wild-West Era of Streaming TV Is Ending.
The big companies are starting to take over. Not Big Media Companies, they have been trying to play catch-up. Others such as Amazon Prime which most of you are aware of it but how about Walmart's VUDU? You can watch many shows with ads through Walmart's service. There is ATT's DirectTV NOW. But ATT has said in June of 2019 that NOW is no longer its primary focus.
I have been using streaming as my primary viewing choice for about ten to fifteen years. In that time I have been noticing the changes in the last two years.

There some free streaming services you should check out.
- Look at Pluto.tv is has been suitable for a long time. It has been around since 2013. In the last year, it has gotten better. In the next couple of months, they are adding several Spanish channels. Pluto.tv is set up more like old cable TV. Each specific channels for each genre. Those channels are continuing streams that genre 24/7.
- In 2006 Crackle was launched. Sony bought Crackle two years later. Sony-Crackle is like Netflix, but it is free with ads. Netflix Streaming was launched a year after Crackle in 2007.
- There are others such as OpenCulture, Popcornflix, Retrovision.tv or ... just go to the list.
